Custom Chenille Patches
The plush varsity patch — looped yarn on felt, with real depth you can feel. Chenille is made for big, bold shapes: a block letter, a mascot, an oversized graphic on denim. We produce it in loop or cut finish, and add embroidered detail where the design needs sharpness chenille can't give on its own.
Loop or cut finish
Loop keeps the yarn closed for a neater surface; cut is sheared open for a softer, fluffier look. Same design, noticeably different feel.
Hybrid embroidery detail
Chenille alone can't hold outlines, years or small text. We stitch those in embroidery on the same patch — how every good varsity patch is actually built.
Sized to be seen
Varsity letters typically 4–8 inches tall, back pieces 8–12. Chenille rewards scale; below about 3 inches the texture stops reading.
Sew-on done right
Chenille is heavy. We finish with a felt margin that gives a clean stitching edge, so the patch holds on a wool jacket for years.
