Jacket Back Embroidery Digitizing
A full back design isn't a left chest logo scaled up. At 10 to 12 inches wide you're into tens of thousands of stitches, satin columns too long to hold, and fabric that pulls in over a much bigger area. Scale a small file up and it goes stiff as a board or gaps at every edge. We build jacket backs at size, by hand, for $15. New customers get their first design free.
Density set for the size
Large fills run lighter and with longer stitches than small ones. Get that wrong and a back piece turns into a stiff, bulletproof panel that puckers the jacket around it.
Underlay and pull comp at scale
Pull-in adds up over 12 inches. Heavier underlay and compensation keep outlines landing on their fills instead of drifting a few millimetres off.
Long satins handled
Satin columns past about 10mm wide loosen and snag. We split them or switch to fill so wide lettering stays tight.
Split for your hoop
Design bigger than your largest hoop? We split it into sections with alignment marks so it lines up across hoopings.
How it works
Send the design and jacket
Finished width and height, the jacket fabric (denim, canvas, nylon, leather, fleece) and your largest hoop size.
We build it at size
Density, underlay, compensation and sequencing chosen for the full size. Stitching works outward from the centre to limit shifting.
Test and run
Stitch one on a scrap or a spare jacket first. Revisions are free, and you pay once you've approved the proof.
