    Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of threadizers.com and any digitizing, vector art or custom patch work we do for you. By placing an order you agree to them.

    Last updated: 14 August 2026

    1. What we do

Threadizers converts artwork into machine-ready embroidery files (digitizing), redraws raster images as vector files, and produces custom patches. Digitizing and vector work are delivered digitally. Patches are physical goods and are shipped.

    2. Quotes and orders

Quotes are based on the artwork, size, quantity and specification you give us. If the brief changes after work has started — a different size, extra colours, a new design — we will requote before continuing.

An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing (email or through your account dashboard). Prices shown on the site are indicative for standard work; complex artwork may be quoted higher, and we will always tell you before starting.

    3. Your artwork and rights

You must own the artwork you send us, or have permission to use it. By sending artwork you confirm you have that right, and you accept responsibility for any third-party claim arising from it. We do not verify trademark or copyright ownership.

We will decline work we believe infringes someone else's rights, and we may cancel and refund an order if we discover an issue after accepting it.

    4. Proofs, approval and revisions

For digitizing we provide a proof or stitch-out image before final delivery. For patches we provide a digital proof before production.

Please check proofs carefully — size, spelling, colours and placement. Once you approve a proof, production goes ahead on that basis, and errors present in an approved proof are not covered by our guarantee.

Revisions to correct our mistakes are free and unlimited. Changes to the brief after approval are treated as new work.

    5. File ownership

Once you have paid, the digitized file or vector file is yours. You can use it, reuse it and take it to another supplier. We do not hold your files hostage and we do not charge licence fees for reuse.

We may retain a copy so we can re-supply or edit it for you later. Tell us if you would rather we did not.

    6. Turnaround

Standard digitizing turnaround is 12–24 hours from receiving complete artwork and specification. Rush service is available. Patch production takes longer and depends on quantity, type and shipping destination; we quote it per order.

Turnaround times are targets, not guarantees. They run from when we have everything we need — incomplete briefs and slow proof approval extend them. If a deadline is critical, tell us up front and we will confirm in writing whether it is achievable.

    7. Payment

Unless agreed otherwise, digitizing and vector work is paid on or before delivery of the final files. Patch orders may require payment or a deposit before production.

    8. Refunds and our guarantee

If a digitized file does not sew correctly because of how we made it, we will revise it until it does. If we still cannot get it right, you get a full refund. See our Refund Policy for the detail, including how this differs for physical patches.

    9. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account password secure and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you think it has been compromised. We may suspend accounts used for fraudulent or abusive activity.

    10. Limits of liability

We are responsible for the quality of the files and goods we supply. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example lost profit, lost contracts, or the cost of garments spoiled by running a file we were not asked to check, or by running a file that was altered after we delivered it.

Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order.

We always recommend a test stitch-out on your actual fabric before committing to a production run.

    11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the date you place your order. Material changes will be reflected in the 'last updated' date above.
