Commercial machines: DST, every time
Running a multi-needle commercial machine — Tajima, Barudan, SWF? DST is your format. It's universal, lightweight, and exactly what contract embroiderers expect. Colors get set on the machine, not baked into the file.
Home machines: use the brand format
